A fun weekend!

We had the pleasure of a visit from Una this saturday. The table in the kitchen did suddenly become a reading hut, and there were some candies inside there too. Sanna loved the hut, but did not focus that much on the reading yet ;) Sunday we had a local Olypic game in the neigbourhood - about 20 kids did participate and we were lucky to have a lovely day with lots of sun and not too many minus degrees either.

We miss you already! Grandma and grandpa from Sømna has just left after a long weekend visit. Sanna has been in heaven and all over herself by joy and enthusiasm. When grandpa plays the guitar and sings Beatles songs with grandma, Sanna shows lots of rhythm and join in with rock`n roll moves and singalong (well, the lyrics is not that precise yet). Mom and dad was lucky to have babysitters and went to see "Avatar" at the cinema. Great movie!

The mother that made me a mother surprised me with flowers today! Yes, I know, she is a true angel
and a miraculous women on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. Every day I am thanking God for your gift, and for all of my coming Mothers Days, I will thank you even more. Forever grateful, forever blessed with the gift of life through the miracle of surrogacy. PINK hugs and love!

So it turned out in the end that I would be one of those lucky women who can celebrate Mothers Day..... Its a true blessing and I have been walking around with a big smile in my heart today. Sanna and Tommy arranged cake-and-coffee-on-the-bed for me. What a sweet tradition, even if Sanna is not that eager to stay in the bed for many minutes at the time. Tommy made his classic apple cake, its always a hit in this house! And there were roses and lots of love :)

Happy 10 and how to be a lion...

Today Sanna is 10 months old...yes, time flies. We went to a drop in babysing-group today for kids under one year. Those little babies around 3, 5 and 7 months seemed just so SMALL... wow....amazing how fast those little ones grow and develop. And I guess you have heard those word before...by all other parents you know...

At the moment Sanna likes to imitate animal sounds. Her favorites is the cat, the monkey and the lion. Here is two pictures were she is practicing the lion together with dad :)
