Happy Easter!

We wish everyone a very happy Easter! We have stayed the first part in Trondheim. Here we have celebrated both mine and Sanna`s birthday with a hot-dog and cake-party yesterday. Lots of fun and nice to meet up with our friends and family in the city. Tomorrow we will travel up to Sømna for the rest of the holiday. Hopefully there will be some sun and skiing - and the celebration of Sanna`s birthday on Saturday, and also cousin August`s 5th years old birthday and grandpa Peder Sverre birthday that is the 4th of April. A lot of celebration yes, March/April/May is the great birthday season in this Hestvik Kleiven family :) Lots of pictures to come!

A precious gift

We got a wonderful surprise in the post from Anne at Rognan, my mothers cousin. A beautiful set of knitted clothes in off white and brown. Just absolutely gorgeous! Sanna loves to wear it and we are so grateful. As a knitter myself I know just how much time and effort these things takes... Thank you!!!

SPRING is here!!!

The first barbeque in 2010 :) Nice and warm in the sun. It is dripping from the roofs, birds are singing and the air has that springy smell, if you know what I mean. Main dish taken outside, dessert inside. Sanna loves pineapple (ananas) :)

Happy birthday Una!

Una turned 6 years old the 11th of March. We went to the restaurant "Egon" at Tyholttårnet to celebrate. This Saturday she held a birthday party for her friends at the children's farm "Voll gård". Great success! And WOW...those animals smells so much more, makes so much more noise and is SO much bigger in real life compared to how they look in the babies books ;)

Those rolls are rocking!

Sanna seems to adopt her parents passion for newly fresh baked rolls; the smell in the house, the atmosphere that surrounds it... yum.... either plain or with butter and jam on... . o la la!

She is crawling!
