Sanna goes to Sanna

Finally Tommys holiday is here. We are soon heading to our first summer vacation with Sanna. We will go up north to Helgeland. First we will stay one week in Sømna to Tommys parents. We look forward to meet grandparents, aunt and uncle and cousins and the rest of the family. Then we will also travel to Træna and stay at the island Sanna, that we have named our princess after. Here we will also meet family that have not met Sanna yet.

Cant wait to feel the smell of salt ocean and feel the wind in our faces. Sanna is ready, we have bought her a lifejacket so she is prepared for boatlife. A fancy pair of sunglasses she got too. Happy summer holiday everyone, see you again in two weeks!

Yes, she is three months old today, our little princess. Hipp hurra!

Summer in the city!

We are in the middle of a heatwave in Trondheim. That is rather unusual, and its funny; we are longing for a heat wave in the winter, but when its here its actually a little to warm for a cold Norwegian sole and body. When will there ever be balance :)

Sanna seems to enjoy the sunny weather though, suddenly being outside in just her diapers is a new experience.

From peanut to big girl!

Sanna is growing - seems like she is getting a little bit bigger every day that passes. We went to the 3-months control at Helsestasjonen (local PIP) and everything was fine. She is now 6,3 kilo/14 pound and 63 cm/24,8 inches. Helsesøster (PIP) also gave Sanna her first vaccines, one in each leg. She cried a bit, but then happy again shortly after. The next appointment is in the end of August, then there will be more vaccines... Poor little girl :)

Time to go to bed

Sanna used to go to bed around ten and eleven, same as her parents. With a little bit of adjusting we have taught her to take the night a little bit earlier. Now she is sleeping around 8.30. Suddenly the parents got a few hours with time of their own. Its nice, even though we just love to spend time with our princess :)

Happy Fathers Day to all dad`s in the US

Today all the Americans celebrate Fathers Day. We especially want to congratulate Sanna`s surrogate father and Godfather to be, mister JP.



And Sanna even got a surrogate grandpa, Glenn, and we congratulate him too. Enjoy your well deserved day, pink hugs from Sanna and parents in Norway!
